Remedial cementing, sometimes called orphan well decommissioning or abandonment, is an important part of the oil well life cycle, both legally and environmentally, and is a responsibility we take very seriously.  

Performance Energy’s experience in this area is second to none. Our President and Founder Scott Darling started Western Canada’s first abandonment company back in 1988, and presently serves as chair of the service rig sectoral executive committee with the Canadian Association of Energy Contractors.
